Convenient PDF reading on Mac OS X
Version 10.5 of Mac OS X brought its fair share of new features, which combine nicely into more convenient PDF reading from where I stand. The following is a QuickLook view of a Preview-annotated file, taken from my Desktop using the window-selecting screen capture command:

In the future, QuickLook will probably need a few improvements, most of them already available through scripting, and a preference pane in the System Preferences to acknowledge it as a major aspect of the user experience. On top of my list are folder-viewing and default view-size adjustment, as well as improved full-screen capabilities.
